George Spadier
Advisory Board Member
George Spadier serves on the Advisory Board of Freedom Capital Partners, where he provides strategic insight on capital markets, financing structures, and investment execution. Drawing on his deep experience across debt and equity markets, George supports the firm in evaluating capital strategies and structuring investments to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
George is Head of Capital Markets at Angeleno, where he leads all capital markets activity, overseeing the structuring and execution of debt and equity transactions across the firm’s platform.
With more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, he has closed billions of dollars in capital throughout his career.
Prior to joining Angeleno, George was a Managing Director at Berkadia in Los Angeles, where he specialized in originating debt and equity transactions within the housing sector. Earlier in his career, he spent six years at a Los Angeles-based mortgage banking firm as a top producer, arranging financing for clients nationwide. He also worked at PennyMac during the Great Financial Crisis, where he was involved in pricing and analysis for the acquisition, disposition, and management of a multi-billion-dollar non-performing loan portfolio.
A Los Angeles native, George is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), where he serves on both the Investor and Origination Councils.
